From November 11 to 13, 2026, LAKEXIXI will set up at FoodExpo Qazaqstan in Almaty, taking a position in Hall 8 at Stand AC12. The show runs at the Atakent International Exhibition Centre on 42 Timiryazev Street - a venue that has, over the past decade, become the primary meeting point for food buyers across Kazakhstan and the wider Eurasian Economic Union.The timing matters. Kazakhstan's food import bill reached roughly USD 5 billion in the first eight months of 2026, up 6.2% year-on-year, according to the country's statistical agency. China is already the second-largest supplier of food products to Kazakhstan at USD 407.6 million - a 24.2% jump compared with the same period last year. That growth is happening despite Chinese goods facing full customs duties, while EAEU members like Russia and Belarus move duty-free across the border.
